Should've been 8... Will....

Another fast start, albeit one which didn't reap the initial rewards the Dragons' play deserved as they harried and harassed the Vets, carving out numerous chances early on.
Movement in the D and being in the right place a the right time is something we have practised at training, and several times players found themselves a whisker away from that tap in as the opening goal continued to elude them.
Watkins had the ball in the net but the whistle had gone for a penalty corner. From the corner Watkins then managed to miss a sitter only for Kindy to smash the ball home 1-0.
There was then a period of Vets resistance and a few nervy moments for the Dragons' back line before Watkins was once again involved from a short corner. His tip in ricocheted up in the air as the 'keeper desperately tried to claw the ball away from danger only for Super Ted to pounce and bat the ball in from mid-air for 2-0.
The Edlington Express soon made it 3 in 3 minutes with a cool finish after being set free one on one with the Vets goalkeeper.
A comfortable lead at halftime then, but talk of the need to avoid complacency against a dangerous team and the importance of getting the next goal.
After belatedly remembering to remove his hoodie before restarting the second half, Joseph Moisey duly obliged, calmly rounding the 'keeper and finishing from an acute angle.
Again the Vets had their chances, striking the post and forcing centre back Andy Briault into not one but three goal line clearances as their capacity to cause problems from penalty corners became very apparent.
But the young Bourne Deeping side simply didn't let up. Alex Hutton sniffed out his customary scrappy goal and close range deflections from Brittain and Watkins both found their way past the Vets 'keeper as the youngsters began to run riot.
A magnificent 7 for the Dragons, but more pleasing was the work rate and team spirit which was evident throughout. No doubt the Dragons are riding high at the minute but sterner tests are still to come as they look to cement a top 4 finish.
