I can't do it justice, just watch the video!

What an ending, what a game!
It started ominously. Cambs played high tempo washing machine hockey, constantly moving the ball, rotating positions, and probing, creating chances. Joe Allen saved one off the line in the first 3 minutes and Ady Portlock had another game to remember with series of early saves to keep the Dragons in the game.
There were chances for the Dragons, James Riseborough driving along the baseline and getting hacked created the only short corner opportunity which was ultimatley wasted, and while Cambs were undeniably on top, they only had one short corner in the first half, and Portlock was in no mood to be beaten from mere open play, charging down opposition forwards like a speeding Rhino (or a Rhino on speed?)
A 0-0 halftime score was reward for some fine defending from front to back and just moments after the restart Alex Hutton was clipped by the 'keeper's stick as he attempted to go around him on a breakaway. Ryan Matthews was not part of the routine, but when the shooting lane was closed down the ball was slipped to Mathews who didn't hesitate to find the top corner with a drag flick.
Cue the Cambridge onslaught. no more washing machine, pretty hockey; get it wide, get it in the D! But Briault, Moisey , Gray, Garner, Watkins, Howitt, the list goes on of players working hard, defending for their team and putting themselves in harms way, backed up as ever by the reassuring presence of Portlock in goal.
But eventually the pressure had to tell, and when with just 4 minutes remaining the Cambs short corner routine finally broke through, it looked like Bourne Deeping would be hanging on for a point...
But after 2 years feeding on scraps, these Dragons forwards are hungry. Ravenous enough to chase every long ball, every lost cause, and Ben Brittain did just that, latching on to a long clearance which caught defender and goalkeeper in 2 minds. He had no right to get there, let alone sweep the ball underneath the goalkeeper and win the game for the Dragons in the final second of the game with no time to even set up for the restart. What. A. Game.
