A New opportunity for consideration to complement your training or to join some club members in something beneficial and hopefully fun.

Dear all,
Many of you will already know Isaac Charles from training, matchday, or umpiring. Isaac joined us during last season having relocated from Bury St. Edmunds HC. As well as having played hockey to a high standard, and umpiring at levels even higher, he is a qualified PT instructor with a BSc. Sport and Exercise Science degree. He is looking to introduce Strength and Conditioning as a consideration, something we are certainly not conscious enough of if we think of our injury roster by mid-November!
Please give this opportunity your consideration to complement your training or to join some club members in something beneficial and hopefully fun.

What is Strength & Conditioning you might ask?

There is a common misconception that Strength and Conditioning is just about lifting weights. But in fact, there is far more to it than that! Whilst strength training is certainly an important aspect of S&C, it is just as much about mobility, flexibility, and even mental wellbeing.
Just some of the benefits include; strengthening supporting muscles, even out muscle imbalances, increase mobility, correct posture, stabilize joints, learn new movement patterns, enhance your coordination and peripheral skills, and so much more.

The sessions will be based around the 5 key compound movements, along with a selection of core strengthening, and unilateral exercises, along with just having fun and getting members from across the club together for some different and extra training.
