Just not enough

the much changed 4's lined up against Spalding hoping to go into the Christmas break on a high. The visitors started strong with Langley making an exceptional save. Bradshaw Snr tested the opposition goalie a couple of times before he powered a shot past him to give the Dragons the lead. The Defence with 2 under 16's Gray and Mountain played very well against a very talented Spalding team . half time 1-0
the second half saw the 4's extend the lead with Mann rifling a rocket . had we kept the 2 goal lead a bit longer we may of got something but a slaloming run showing both great skill and awful tackling gave Spalding their first goal. After that the result was never in doubt as Spalding poured forward and the dragons dropped further back and started panic defending despite more good Langley saves the equaliser came and then the go ahead goal . the forth came and that was the game . The dragons end the year looking over their shoulder and needing to get back to winning ways quick
