Horncastle 2nds v BD men’s 4ths

After a mad late week scramble to get enough players to play the game BD4ths turned up with a bare 11 after calling on the 5ths to help.

Horncastle started the game stronger scoring from a fast attack.

BD equalised following some good play down the right with Ewan slotting in from close range.

Horncastle took the lead moments later but Peter Moisey picked up the ball and placed a shot into the bottom corner to level the score 2-2 at half time thanks to excellent goal keeping by Jack Langley.

After some tactical changes at half time, BD 4ths came out much stronger and dominated the second half scoring another four goals to horncastle one.

Mike bradshaw scored another hat trick and Kev Baker tipping in to make the final score 6-3.

There were strong performances from jack, Mark, Davin and Sam with an excellent performance from MOM Kev Baker.

With performances like these the 4ths can be in contention for promotion.
