A massive Thank You and Well done to all the Young Umpires and Umpire Support representing LCHUA this weekend. It has been one of the biggest in our calendar.

Representing LCHUA at the East Regional In2Hockey Finals at Harleston this weekend was: Sophie Brittain, Rose Taylor-Jackson, Ethan Edwards (BDHC), Sophie Hopwood (Horncastle), Josh Ripley, Harry Braginton (Long Sutton), Reuben Sansoa-Twell (Lindum), Mia Dewing, Abby Hodgett, Grace Hodgett and Ethan Pearson (Spalding). Being 11 of the possible 15 umpire appointments. All performed excellently in harsh conditions and all have now successfully joined the Regional Young Umpire Programme. Also Thanks to Lottie Hopwood, Tom Everton and Yvonne McCartney who formed part of the Umpire Support.

On Saturday, we also supplied umpires to the ATC Cadets Tournament at RAF Cranwell, where Megan Moore, and Maddie Haunch (Spalding) performed excellently with the watchful steering of old hands Paul Watts and Dean Newell.

On Sunday, we also had even more umpires umpiring at the U12 Mini League Tournament at BDHC.

16 Young Umpires and 6 Umpire Coaches all in action in one weekend... Hard to think that 4 years ago we only had 4 active Young Umpires!
